When you come to Alaska you will need to dress in layers, it can be up in the 70's and sun shining with 20 hr's of day light or raining and in the 40's. Bring rubber boots and rain gear, warm coat and  gloves and you will be ready for your Halibut or Salmon fishing adventure. June, July and August are our best months for weather but I like September for the fall days and colors. The feeder King fishing is usually very good in the fall.

You Need to Bring

Camera, Sunglasses, Warm Clothing, Rain Gear, Binoculars, Lunch, strong left arm.

Fish Runs  (Limit is per person)

Halibut fishing is great from May until late September.

King Salmon ( spawners ) from May 15, until about June 15.

Feeder King Salmon (can be up to 70#) year round, avg. 10# to 30#. 1 or 2 depending on area fished

Pink Salmon late June though August 5.

Silver Salmon ( Coho ) July 15 through September 1.
